    Spearfishing Superstore Shipping & Delivery Policy


    Spearfishing Superstore uses the best carriers in the business to make sure your order gets to you on time. Our large warehouse is based in Cairns and we ship to anywhere in Australia including the most remote parts of Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Queensland for a fixed rate of $15.00.


    We want to ensure that you are getting deep and spearing fish as quickly as possible. For that reason, our goal is to ensure that your gear is dispatched on the same day that your order is placed, if receive your order and payment before 12:00pm, or on the very next day for orders placed after 12:00pm (excluding weekends and public holidays).

    Frequently Asked Questions About Delivery & Shipping


    1. When will my order be delivered?

    We aim to dispatch orders for delivery within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) upon receiving your order.

    For delivery of Spearfishing Superstore orders within Australia we rely on Startrack Express. For delivery outside of Australia we use Startrack Express or Australian Post – International delivery.


    1. What is the cost of delivery?

    Spearfishing Superstore charges a fixed rate of $15.00 for domestic shipping Australia-wide to residential addresses. Any domestic Australian order, placed from anywhere in Australia, at any time, and for any of our products, will cost $15.00 for shipping.

    Spearfishing Superstore customers have the option of adding Australia-wide shipping insurance to any order at an additional cost of $10.00.

    If a Spearfishing Superstore customer requires an order to be shipped to an Australian PO Box, there will be an additional charge of $15.00.

    For all international orders, a Spearfishing Superstore staff member will contact you with a shipping and delivery estimate including International freight charges.  It is important that international customers liaise with customs or the local postal service as an order may be delayed for inspection or duties/taxes may apply which are not the responsibility of Spearfishing Superstore. This is applicable to all international shipping means.


    1. Will I get charged duties or taxes?

    In Australia, Goods and Services Tax (GST) is incorporated into prices of each of our products, there will be no additional costs.

    International purchases are sold free of Australian GST; however, depending on the customer’s country of residence, there may be additional taxes or import duties imposed at the receiving end. Spearfishing Superstore is not liable for these charges and it is up to the customer to liaise with customs or their local postal service regarding their delivery.


    1. Where does Spearfishing Superstore deliver?

    Spearfishing Superstore delivers orders absolutely everywhere in Australia. We also deliver to most countries around the world. Please note that some suppliers restrict sale of their products outside Australia. Our staff will advise customers if this applies to any of the products ordered once an order is received.


    1. Can I cancel or change my order?

    Prior to processing and shipping, it is not a problem to cancel or change your order. Just give the Spearfishing Superstore team a ring on (07) 4095 6776 and quote your order reference number.

    If your order has already been processed we will be unable to cancel it; however, we do have a 90-day returns policy.


    1. Can I change the delivery address for my order prior to shipping?

    As long as your products have not been shipped, Spearfishing Superstore can easily change your details in our system. Please call us as soon as possible, quoting your order reference on (07) 4035 6776.


    1. What payment methods do you accept?

    Spearfishing Superstore accepts PayPal, Credit Card, ZipPay and additionally coming soon Afterpay at the online checkout.


    1. Is my information safe and secure?

    When purchasing from Spearfishing Superstore your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest encryption technology.  Spearfishing Superstore uses 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology, which is the industry standard.

    We also use physical and electronic security measures to ensure personal information is not misused, lost, changed or stolen. These measures include, but are not necessarily limited to, restrictions on physical and electronic access to our system, secure databases and electronic firewalls.


    1. How do I view the status of my order?

    Once your package has been dispatched, Spearfishing Superstore will send an order update email to the email address provided with your order. This will include dispatch details of your order (including the staff member that packed your product(s)), the carrier who is handling your package, and a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your parcel.


    1. Can I collect my order in-store?

    Any order can be collected from our state-of-the-art shopfront at 303-305 Draper Street in Cairns, North Queensland. To do so, please select ‘store pickup’ when completing the online check-out and pop by and grab your products from our store in Cairns. By selecting ‘store pickup’ you avoid shipping charges.

    The process for store pickup is easy:

    1. During checkout, choose ‘store pickup’ as the shipping option.
    2. Once you order is placed, wait to receive an email confirming your products are ready to be collected.

    iii.         Bring your identification, credit card, and order number to the store and pick up your product(s).

    Please note that for any purchases in excess of $500.00, the credit card used for the purchase, or a copy of the PayPal transaction confirmation email, must be presented upon collection of your order (along with your ID).


    1. Can someone else collect my order for me?

    For orders under $500.00 you can arrange for someone else to collect from the store. Your pickup person will need to show his/her ID and provide the Spearfishing Superstore order number at the store.

    For orders in excess of $500.00, the buyer must collect the goods in person and present the credit card used to purchase or a copy of the PayPal transaction confirmation email.
