Description
The spectra HD reel line has an internal core which is spectra and a tight Nylon external weave over it for a chafe resistance layer. This gives the reel line a slightly firm cord finish which some divers find better handling and tangles less while in the water. The spectra core provides that added strength to the cord providing a 150kg breaking strain. The tight polyester weave outer layer can handle chafe resistance against rocks and such but if you are spearing around extreme sharp edges such as oysters etc.’ you are best using Dyneema reel line.
The reel line is a good general purpose reel line suited for medium sized fish and can also handle larger fish such as mackerel in open water.
