Ocean Hunter
The Ocean Hunter “Strike” Kevlar Gloves offer the ultimate in protection for your hands.
In many water sports such as spearfishing, snorkelling and scuba diving wetsuit gloves are worn to keep your hands warm in the same way that a wetsuit would. The neoprene material is impervious to water and acts as a skin of insulation trapping the wearer's body heat as well as offering protection in handling things.
The Kevlar covers the palm of the glove as well as the inner side of your hand and the fingertips and tops. This provides a lot more protection against getting cut and spiked by marine life, rocks or your gear. Furthermore, for added durability, all the external seams have a seam seal on them. This prevents an exposed seam getting warn or cut and then the entire seam undoing, so this adds to the gloves lifespan and durability making it a great durable glove.
Remember when you put on a wetsuit glove it is meant to be a snug fit as this is critical to its performance. They are not meant to be loose and have excess bagging of wetsuit around your hands. Loose gloves will allow cool water in taking away your body heat. Furthermore, loose gloves in spearfishing can hinder your hand dexterity while loading the gun, camera work or adjusting buckles and clips.
