Rabitech
The Rabitech reaper reef camo Lycra is designed for diving around the reefs and headlands while targeting fish that live in structured areas. Its reef design helps break the divers profile up while positioned against the reef or rocky headlands and kelp, allowing the diver to have a better chance of ambushing the targeted fish. The Lycra is ideally worn in warm tropical water but can be worn over an existing wetsuit in cold water to make use of its camouflage abilities.
Further advantages to wearing the full-faced Lycra suit is it helps prevent exposure to the sun and minimises sunburn. Another added bonus to the suit in while diving in tropical waters is, its ability to help prevent stings from marine life such as stingers/jellyfish etc.
You will see on the chest there is a padded black loading pad built onto the suit. This provides added padding to your chest while you chest load your speargun, and helps prevent bruising and provides greater comfort.
The ankles have built-in ankle straps that secure under your heel when the pants are worn, to prevent the pants sliding up your legs as you swim exposing your skin to the sun and marine life. Likewise, the ends of the sleeves have thumb loops to prevent the sleeves sliding up your arms as you swim.
All the seams in the suit are flatlock stitched, what this means is they are low profile which helps prevent them chafing on your skin which more bulky style seams can do. The outer edges of the hood, ankles, wrists and waist have all had the edge bound to prevent tearing when putting the suit on and off. All these points make for a very durable high-quality lycra suit.
