The Rob Allen Stainless steel stringer helps prevent you from losing your fish while they are strung at your float if a shark swims by and bites the stringer. Some stringers on the market are made from Mono line and if a shark bites those styles while the shark is attempting to steal a fish, its teeth will cut and break those styles. Then all the fish will fall off the line and drop into the water where the sharks can steel them more easily.
The Rob Allen stringer version is made from stainless steel wire which helps prevent the shark from cutting the cable and dropping all your fish. The shark might steal 1 or 2 fish from your stringer but that is better than cutting the line and losing them all.
The stainless cable has a plastic exterior coating for greater durability. The 7mm stringer sits at 90 degrees off the wire cable ensuring fish never fall off the stringer. Included is a shark clip to connect to your float to attach your stringer to your float. It has a built on swivel to aid in preventing your cable twisting and getting tangles as you swim.
